"Our main objective is to promote combat sports in Puerto Rico not only as mere sports but as a discipline of life, culture, and society. This implies not only respecting the traditional values of martial arts, such as camaraderie, coexistence in the dojo, learning, and discipline, but also fostering sports values in terms of overall health and the spirit of competition."

"Our events are characterized by creating an environment of fair competition and as leveled as possible according to the data provided by the competitors and their teachers. We use a point-based format for beginner children and a submission-based format for juveniles and adults to promote the purpose of Jiu Jitsu, which is to finish the match, avoiding as much as possible a decision based on points or judges' criteria."

"The WFC is a project that originated in 2023 and is still evolving towards becoming a recognized entity which attracts martial arts practitioners to its events. Our goal is to create a platform in which the local competitor can develop and elevate his/her game at international level."
